10 Hikes You Should Take in Morocco

1 – The granaries of Aoujgal

Located in the Middle Atlas, these ancient granaries carved out of a 60m cliff, are the remains of an ancient collective architectural tradition where each family of the Ait Abdi tribe contributed to the construction, maintenance and protection of the home in the mountains. Unusual stories and myths surrounds this unique place in Morocco!

2 – Imsfrane cathedral

15 kilometers from Tillouguitte village is the magnificent rock "The Imsfrane Cathedral", culminating at 1872m altitude. Djebel Bouiblane is a summit of the Middle Atlas culminating at 3,192 meters above sea level and located about 100 kilometers from Taza. 5 – The Tazekka park of the Cedrus atlantica

Departing from Bab-boudir, this 5-hour hike takes you to one of Morocco's most remarkable ecosystems: the magnificent cedar forest of Tzekka, one of the largest cedar reserves in the Atlas. Tazekka Park covers more than 120 km² and is home to waterfalls, caves and chasms, including the famous Friatou chasm, The biggest cave and one of the deepest in the world.

6 – Bouhachem park in the Rif region
